Using Tails

Tails is an operating system you boot from a USB stick. It runs in memory, pushes every connection through Tor, and wipes itself when you power off. If you want to leave nothing on the machine, this is the strongest option on normal hardware.

It writes nothing to the computer disk.
Apps cannot leak around Tor by accident.
A dedicated stick keeps this off the machine you use for everything else.

Install Tails from its official site and check the download. Boot it, connect to Tor, then open Tor Browser inside Tails and paste an address from the entry points page. If you want to keep a PGP key between sessions, turn on the encrypted Persistent Storage.

Do not skip this

Write your recovery words on paper, not only inside Tails. A lost stick should never mean a lost account.
