Using Tor Browser
For most people Tor Browser is the whole job. It comes with the Tor connection built in, so an onion address just opens.
Get it from the real place
Download it only from torproject.org. Not from an ad in a search result, not from an app store copy, not from a file a stranger sent. The first time you install it, check the signature. That one step rules out a tampered copy.
Turn the security up
Click the shield and set it to Safest. That switches off scripts across every site and closes off a whole set of attacks. BlackOps runs fine on Safest.
Open a verified address
Copy an address from the entry points page and paste it in. Do not type a fifty-six character address by hand. When the login loads, read the address it shows and match it to your bar.
