When it will not open
Nearly every "it will not open" comes down to one of a few things. Try these before you decide the market is down.
It will not connect
- Ask Tor for a new circuit on that tab and try again.
- Try another address. They all go to the same market.
- Is the rest of your Tor browsing slow too? Then the network is busy. Give it a minute.
- Make sure Tor Browser is up to date.
The captcha keeps coming back
The anti-flood check is tied to your session. When it loops, the problem is your circuit or your cookies, not your answer. Get a new identity, let the page start a fresh session, and solve it once. Do not open the market in several tabs while you are on the check.
The address does not match
Stop here
If the address on the login page is not the one in your bar, close the tab and copy a fresh address from the entry points page. A mismatch is what a fake looks like, not a glitch.Updated 2026-07-20 · Access
